I don't notice any difference in the water quality but do notice a difference in the flow rate. There was a noticeable decrease in the water pressure flow rate on both of the shower heads after we added this culligan filter cartridge. Included was a calendar sticker to help remind you when to change filter out (nice feature). A person should probably stock up on these in order to have one available every six-months. Good product in conjunction with the Culligan showerheads. Had to shake-off just a little filter residue before installing but this "settling" is probably normal. Easy install. Easy use. This is a difficult find in local retail stores. Glad it's available readily online.
The filter works very well. Takes out a lot of the chlorine smell and also the sediment in the pipes. It's not a water softener, so do expect to have that "slick" feel after you shower like you do with the big "Culligan" home based water softeners. Those are great, but cost $$$. This unit does just fine and would highly recommend it to anybody who has strong chlorine smell and old pipes with a lot of built up sediment.

Have used this for more than a year now. Works as expected and very easy to integrate into the shower head. Does its job for 6-8 months of regular use after which a lower performance can be expected.
