Customer Review: Broke as soon as I turned on the water

I was initially hopeful for this item as it seemed like a great product. When I got it I followed the instructions, put it together, tightened it up and then turned the water on.
As soon as I turned the water on the threading on the large end (the end you insert the filter into) popped from the pressure (and I don't even have that much water pressure) and now I can't get it apart since it popped off the threading diagonally. So it's locked together and no matter how hard I try it won't come apart.
Great product Culligan!! (if a sarcasm font existed I would have used it on the previous sentence!)

Upon moving into a new house, I decided to purchase these filtered showerheads as a bridge-gap to getting a whole house water softener. We were pleasantly surprised in the amount of water pressure coming out. Obviously, this depends on your whole house water pressure, but I was concerned with there being a filter component and slowing down the water. That was not the case. My family is pleased with the performance of the product. It is a fair price.
