Tools and Hardware Reviews of Culligan WSH-C125 Wall-Mount 10,000 Gallon Capacity Filtered Showerhead, Chrome FinishCustomer Review: Extremely pleased Summary: 5 Stars
Unit was very easy to install...honestly, the hardest part was getting it out of the package. The difference in the water quality is impressive. Noticed the improvement immediately. Hair and skin are less dry and much softer. For the price, hard to make an argument against buying one of these. Highly recommend for anyone.
Customer Review: Filters great but... Summary: 4 Stars
This shower head definitely filters your water - it just feels and smells better when you take a shower. The only problem is the spray. It's very narrow. If the spray was bigger it would be a perfect product. It's not too expensive, easy to install and it's easy to change the filters, which don't even have to be changed that often.
Customer Review: Floppy & Gushy Summary: 3 Stars
I'm bummed, I really wanted this to work. Filtration, lower flow, NSF certified, culligan, and a great price!
Upon receipt, my beau installed it right quick. He reported that no matter how well it's tightened, it just flops downward. He's installed about seven showerheads for me (I'm searching for shower nirvana), I generally trust his skills in this area. I thought that maybe it'd work better with some water running through it. While in the shower, I tried to adjust it; sometimes, it'd stay, but not every time. I've now read about this same issue on another review and I'm questioning the build quality and endurance of the showerhead.
Also, I find that the flow is too generous. I'm one of those weird people who like a single, 1.5gpm flow. This is a 2.5 gpm head (the generally acceptable water-saving level). The settings are so-so to adjust. Not easy, not difficult. I haven't noticed any difference in water hardness or odor, but I also have been using my other shower more, now. I realize that this is a subjective preference and therefore, it did not affect my rating.
So, I think I'll keep searching until I find another 1.5gpm, that doesn't flop downward, and has a hose. I have one in my other shower, and I can always add a filter to something like that.
I rely on reviews here at Amazon to help me make informed buying choices. I hope this review has helped you in the same manner. If you voted this as helpful, I Thank You! :)
Customer Review: Good Filter Summary: 4 Stars
Does exactly what it preaches. However there are filters available at Home Depot which guarantee 100 % removal of Chlorine while this one removes 99% of it. Not sure if it makes much of the difference.I like this one and would definitely recommend it.
Customer Review: Good Product Summary: 5 Stars
This showerhead is a wonderful buy. I smile every time I step into the shower, knowing 97 per cent of the chlorine and large percentage of other unhealthy components are being filtered out of the water. It is a bonus to have the variety of settings from rain, to spray to pulsing to VERY strong..which is great for rinsing after shampoo and major back massage for those who enjoy this. There is also no doubt that my hair and skin are softer and feel healthier. This is not a stainless steel and is quite light weight, but is very easy to install, owns up to it's description and is definitely value for money spent.
