Tools and Hardware Reviews of D-Con 00027 Ultra Set Covered Snap Mouse TrapCustomer Review: Caught 5 mice already, excellent value Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this trap for my mom after reading all the great reviews. Within one day, we already caught 1 mouse. Within a week we've caught 5. This is a great value cause it simply works and is reusable. Great trap. Before this, my mom was foolishly using pellets, which ended up not working and just being a huge waste of money. Also a word of advice, as the previous reviewers suggested, use peanut butter, it works great.
Update: I should mention, that these traps work perfectly but every once in a while I'd get a problem where the lever wouldn't stay down. To fix this issue, first hold down the lever. Inside the lever slot, there's a little box near the back of the trap. While holding down the lever, use a knife to push the box inside the lever slot down. This should keep the lever down. This has worked for me in getting the lever to stay down, hopefully this helps others.
Customer Review: Caught 5 mice so far since March. Summary: 5 Stars
I bought one of these and it's caught 5 mice since March. Every once in a while, my cat (or the wife and I) hear a scurrying in the drop ceiling in our finished basement. I put this up onto one of the tiles with some PB and within a few days I check to see if the metal lock mechanism has moved and pull down the trap and take the mouse out to the woods.
I would recommend this for anyone who has a small rodent problem.
Customer Review: Caught mouse on first night! Summary: 5 Stars
I realized I had a mouse problem 3 days ago and set the trap on the 3rd night. When morning came, the varmint was dead. Very effective and easy to dispose. Best of all I can use it again.
Customer Review: Cheap Summary: 1 Stars
While setting it up, the trap often times popped. Then plastic latch broke and the mouse trap was unable to lock in place. It would not set up properly so it went in the trash before it was even used. Would not purchase again.
Customer Review: Cheaper and Better than ElectronicTraps Summary: 5 Stars
I've tried glue traps--didn't work. Victor electronic trap- worked great but a bit pricey. This trap is far the best and most effective plus it's cheaper than electronic trap. If I knew this was as effective or even more effective than an electronic trap, I would have bought more of these. No more mouse in my house~! Within 2 weeks, I caught 5 mouse. It's been a month and haven't seen any mouse droppings at all! Buy this and you won't regret it!
