I bought this little kit in order to have a super lightweight and small size diamond sharpener I could keep in my pack or wallet and never know it was there. For that purpose they are great. The coarsest one is still really not coarse enough to put an edge on a super dull knife, but you shouldn't be venturing out with a dull knife anyway, and it's got more than enough to grit to keep a sharp knife honed up during use.

Dia-Sharp continuous diamond surface sharpening stones. Includes vinyl color-coded carrying case. 3.27 in. x2.01 in. x .04 in. Flatness ensures constant angle & precision edges.
