This is a terrific product. It enables you to get an extremely sharp knife very quickly. My older knives had been getting duller. When I got two DMT diamond hones, I had them back to very sharp condition in no time. It's once again a pleasure to use them. They even cut tomatoes well.

Get the perfect sharpening surface for a variety of edge care needs with the Diamond WhetstoneT. Great for the home or shop, the 6" Diamond WhetstoneT comes with a Bench Stone Base. This base includes non-skid rubber feet and offers knuckle clearance in sharpening and underside handle for moving stone over a large work piece. The Extra-Fine diamond (9 micron/1200 mesh) will polish and refine a razor edge after you have already sharpened with a coarser diamond. No messy oils needed, you can either sharpen dry or with water. Durable construction will provide years of consistent performance and reliable sharpening for the right angle every time.
