I ordered these with high hopes, but must wait to use them. There was no battery for the remote, and I have no idea where to get one. Even though Amazon said a battery was included in its technical details. Well don't believe the one year factory warranty either! The factory warranty is for 30 days! A big difference.
To Amazon... If you don't have the correct information, don't just make some up!

These devices allow you to remotely control a lamp. Now instead of having to wander round the room turning lights on I just flick the room switch and every lamp comes on together. No setup hassles, just press a switch on this device then hold the light switch for 10 seconds and the two are linked together. No addressing, no reliability issues, it just works. So much better than X10.

After finding that so many places no longer sold these and that many of the companies that used to make them no longer do, I was surprised to find a set like this. That being said, I was somewhat skeptical at first because I was purchasing these for work as a bit of a child deterrant so we could shut things off remotely and not have to physically unplug the machines, but also to make closing up at night a little bit easier, and was pleasantly surprised.
Because of the technologies used, a fairly clear line of sight is required to shut off or turn on the plugged in devices, however in a small store like we have, that is not a problem at all. After nearly a month of use, there have been no problems at all and consider it money well spent!

The product delivers what it promises.
Range is good, the units can be switched off from their wall outlets also which is convenient at times,
the units are numbered so u know which one is which.
The only two things that I thought worth mentioning:
Does not come with a battery...so better purchase one separately (23A,12V)
The wall units might look big in the sockets and with an additional device plugged to bottom socket, may look crowdy (but they do not encroach on the bottom socket)
