Well, even though it's going to be painful....I'm going to try one more of these.....for 20 bucks, it's not worth the hassle of sending it back, or dealing with the seller. Arrived quickly (as per routine, when dealing with Amazon Prime). But, I'm not sure it's worth >$1/day, not to have to get out of bed to walk over the the light and the "help-me-sleep-white-noise" fan. Easy to identify the problem as a malfunctioning hand-remote....no trauma occurred, just stopped working (LED indicator light still worked...and new battery "trial" made no difference; distance from receivers had no impact; just pooped-out). If the second one is also a lemon, then I'll be back to officially "brutalize" this product. Realistically, the wall-outlet receivers seem to be sturdy/well-made....but the remote feels very cheap/fragile....it's really too bad that they couldn't put a little more effort here, even if they had to raise the price $5-10......if my "second chance" is fruitless....there are some higher-quality options on Amazon, as well.Customer Review: Great product for the price at $20.

My wife loves it since she use for controling light for the baby crib night lights and downstir stand laps before working downstair. Only wish it comes with 2 remotes and make the unit smaller so it won't interfer the outlet right below it.Customer Review: Great product. Great price.

I put these in my home office to easily turn on my several lamps in the morning and turn them off late at night instead of fumbling with them, bleary-eyed. Easy to set-up. I've had these for awhile but never really used them until I realized I could use them for my glow pumpkin at Halloween & now my Christmas tree & lights at the holidays. All 3 of them work well at first but after I'd say 30-40 times of turning them on or off the clicker doesn't really work anymore. You have to either hold it down or be at a certain distance (closer) for it to work which defeats the purpose of the remote. The more I use it the more disappointed I get. I think these may just be cheap & I will probably go out & buy nicer ones soon.
