Tools and Hardware Reviews of Danco 88821 2-3/4-Inch Tub Mesh Strainer, StainlessCustomer Review: Great strainer for the tub Summary: 5 Stars
My wife has very long and curly hair which wrecks havoc on our tub's drain. We've used different plastic strainers from bed bath and beyond and nothing seemed to work. Those strainers would get clogged and force you to remove them just to allow the tub to properly drain while showering (thus defeating the purpose!). I selected the Danco strainer because it had great reviews on Amazon, and after a few weeks, it's been working great. The strainer catches long hair but still allows proper water drainage.
Customer Review: Handy Mesh Strainers Summary: 5 Stars
This is the only place I've been able to find these strainers and they work just perfect. Simple and inexpensive item but a real essential for keeping your drains flowing nicely! Great product, well made, PERFECT!
Customer Review: It does the job Summary: 4 Stars
It does what it was intended to do. The mesh is actually a little TOO fine - there's nothing it doesn't catch. The four stars instead of five is because I didn't like having to pay more for shipping than for the product, but I couldn't find it elsewhere.
Customer Review: It works Summary: 4 Stars
I've had this over a year. I have a lot of hair that sheds tons in the shower, and this prevents it from going down the drain. I only wish the holes were slightly bigger because the suds from my soap don't want to go through, so I have take it out several times and rinse it. But my drain doesn't get blocked nearly so often, which was the reason I bought it, so still 4 starts.
Customer Review: Kitchen Strainer Summary: 5 Stars
I Love this kitchen strainer. I've tried others, but they never catch all the food. This one does.
