Tools and Hardware Reviews of Delta Faucet 75505WH Five-Spray and Massage Palm Shower, WhiteCustomer Review: GREAT PRODUCT Summary: 5 Stars
ANOTHER GREAT PRODUCT DISTRIBUTED BY AMAZON. I INSTALLED IT IN LESS THAN A MINUTE. CHECKED FOR LEAKS, NONE. WENT TO FILE THE WARRANTY AND LOOKED AT THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS. CRACKED ME UP, IT STARTS WITH: REMOVE OLD SHOWERHEAD. I COULD JUST SEE SOMEBODY STANDING THERE WITH THE NEW ONE AND LOOKING AT THE OLD ONE AND WONDERING WHAT TO DO NEXT. NEXT MORNING I TRIED ALL THE SETTINGS AND FOUND THE MASSAGE SETTING GREAT. AFTER A WHILE I FELT SOME COLD DROPS ON MY BACK (I SIT ON A HOSPITAL BENCH) CHECKED FOR LEAKS, NONE. LOOKED UP AT THE CEILING AND SAW IT WAS COVERED WITH DROPS. SO I WOULD NOT WORRY ABOUT WATER PRESSURE. NOW I JUST OPEN THE FAUCETS A LITTLE BIT. GREAT PRODUCT, GREAT LAUGH AND PRICED RIGHT. THANKS GUYS. BEN
Customer Review: Genius reviewers here... Summary: 3 Stars
Not one out of these 21 "reviewers" have had the intelligence and/or acumen to either inquire or actually measure flow rate (gallons per minute). This info is of great importance to me (and I'm sure to others - and should be for ALL), and it's conspicuously absent in the descriptions by the manufacturer or any vendor.
The prevailing everyday ignorance and stupidity is annoying; reading through 27 posts, to find the GPM info, out of which about 17 is utterly useless, is not an amusing experience.
Customer Review: Good Find Summary: 4 Stars
I've had this shower head for over 2 years and have found it to be a very good alternative to the standard fixtures. I'm actually finishing up a move to a new place and am relieved I've found this item on Amazon since I decided to let my previous roommate keep my old one. Apparently, Home Depot no longer carries this and I couldn't find this at Lowe's either.
I really like the soft spouts that can be manually brushed every so often to prevent clogging, but I haven't really had to do that much at all. One of the few things I would change is removing the water flow mechanism, but I guess that can be done easy enough if you know how to go about that.
The only concern I have is that the first one I bought from Home Depot had a leaky house, which I was able to easily swap out with a brick-and-mortar store. Overall, I am quite satisfied with this product and I disappointed it is not as readily available for purchase on- or off-line.
Customer Review: Great affordable shower head Summary: 5 Stars
It looks and works fine. I found it easy to install and easy to operate. The nice metallic hose is actually plastic, too, but there are no leaks or cracks. It puts out a nice spray which is reasonably easy to change. Very satisfied.
Customer Review: It's Okay Summary: 3 Stars
First as people have stated the hose is only five feet. Not six as is advertised. As soon as I looked at it and noticed that it was one foot short. I almost sent it back. But I really needed a new shower faucet. I just used my old six foot hose with this new faucet. That worked just fine.
Next thing I noticed is the actual product is different in appearance from the one pictured here on 02/01/10. Different color and maybe the center of the dial is a bit different too. This appearance difference is of no concern for me. Just an observation.
My wife isn't happy with the water pressure. I'm okay with it. I will most likely follow reviewer J.J. Weiss' lead and remove the restrictor. I feel a bit guilty just thinking about doing it. But maybe I'll do it anyway. BTW JJ WEISS I really appreciate your very good review here.
I did loosen the collar a little and the head moves freely and stays put whatever direction I leave it at.
This five spray faucet head is more like a variable speed. As you turn the "dial" the spray changes gradually. I've never had one like this before. It's a nice feel.
