Tools and Hardware Reviews of Denali 2D Aluminum Flashlight, 2-PackCustomer Review: Delani Flashlight - not worth it Summary: 1 Stars
Junk! Put in new batteries, both lights are weak; one has a spot pattern and one is splash pattern [they are supposed to be identical lights!]. Very disappointed that item was promoted by Amazon.
Customer Review: Good quality, great price Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great deal on a 2-pack of flashlights. Mag has become the big brand name in flashlights, but the best quality comes from Streamlight or Pelican. Personally, I just need a few flashlights around the house for when the power goes out, when I let the dog out, when I need to get under the kitchen or bathroom sink, or to have in the car. This set more than satisfies my need and the price can't be beat. In fact, I think I'll buy another pair.
Customer Review: Great Flashlights Summary: 4 Stars
These flashlights are bigger then I thought they would be and very sturdy and I was very pleased with this purchase.
Customer Review: Junk! Summary: 2 Stars
The aluminum body of this flashlight looks and feels like a high-end flashlight, but that is where the positive features start and stop. A cheap, plastic, supermarket flashlight gives more light than these, which are unbelievably dim. Every other flashlight I have ever seen (including my kids' 2AA Disney character flashlights) provide more light than the ugly, brownish, ringy hotspot created by these flashlights.
I'm a hobbyist who enjoys modifying ordinary things to upgrade and improve them. I had hoped that these lights would be an inexpensive alternative to Maglite flashlights, which make exellent hosts for some pretty interesting modification projects.
I was extremely disappointed to find that the metal flashlight head is all one piece and that the plastic lens is press-fit into place from the front to hold in the reflector behind it. There is no threaded retaining ring on the head to hold the lens in, so it only takes a small amount of pressure from behind the reflector to push the reflector and the lens right out of the flashlight head. Even the cheapest flashlights sold in the battery section of the supermarket have better means of keeping the lens and reflector inside the head.
Customer Review: Rip Off !!! Summary: 1 Stars
I was shocked when i first saw what little light these produce. My $1 key chain light is much much brighter than these. The yellow-brown spotty light that is produced is garbage.DO NOT BUY THESE!!! You will end up writing a review just like mine. It is unbelievable what pieces of junk these are. Not going to return, these go straight to the trash can, and i go straight to a brand that doesn't sell junk.
