I first used De-Solv It when I complained to a pre-school teacher about a sticker that left a mark on my daughter's turtleneck when I washed it. I didn't see the sticker before laundering and the paper dissoved off but not the gummy backing. She suggested I try De-Solv-It. It worked even though I had already dried the clothing in the dryer. I used it on another shirt that had been stored for a couple years until my daughter grew into it. My son had worn it under other things because it had a nasty stain from a sticker. Three years later....it still came off with De-Solv-It. Not only clothing, but it's great on countertops in the kitchen as well and the citrus smell is nice. Also it is amazing for grease stains on clothing from grease splatters, or spaghetti or pizza stains or where young boys thing their shirt and pants are the best choice for napkins....Customer Review: Best sticky stuff remover period.

This is a great product. Made from all natural ingredients. Safe for pets and children. Can be used on almost all surfaces. Smells nice. Variations of this are used in emergency medicine for sticky bandage removal and, it is also used for oil spill clean up.
There are a number of other adhesive cleaners out there but this is one of the oldest, best, and environmentally safe options you can use.
If peeling a label off slowly fails, I use De-Solv-It on tough label and sales tag adhesive on products I buy like DVDs, CDs, ceramics, etc.
This is also an essential tool for flea market, auction house, and thrift store shoppers and sellers.

I have used De-Solv-It for almost 30 years. It has removed stains from kids clothes when they left crayons in the pocket in the dryer, grease on the garage floor, spaghetti from the carpet, oil spots from projects, ink from pens and markers on furniture, and even nail polish. I have used this product since it came on the market, and I have not found ANYTHING that is comparable to it. Hard to find in my area, but I scout the internet and buy it in volume. It removes every single thing that is noted that it removes, and then some. Especially tree sap as we have a lot of that where we live. I have yet to find anything sticky that it won't remove, and it also removes things that aren't sticky, but are stuck on. This product works great. The first time I used it was to get melted gum out of the inside of a pocket on a new pair of jeans. I have also used it to get out grease and tar on pants and ink from a blouse. It has never left any residue on any of my clothing. It does have a strong orange smell but if you don't mind that, you'll love the way it works.
