I have had great experiences with Dewalt tools so I figured spending $7 on a pair of their gloves was a wise purchase. Wrong! These gloves are garbage. After a couple wears the fabric and leather came apart and my pinky fingers are sticking out. Duct tape will fix that, but come on! I agree that the cheap $2 gloves at your local store are a better buy.Customer Review: Cheap construction, show wear easily, but they seem durable so far..

First major problem: the black dye in the cloth stains your hands. That's not right, especially since you'll probably be sweating while wearing these.
Second: After just one day of chipping a wood pile with these, the cloth fabric was already showing stringy strands coming from the inside of the glove and the seams seemed to be already stressed. It gives the glove a worn feel, and is comfortable that way, but in the same respect, I fear after only two weeks these may not last a year. I used them a week later to dig some holes and operate a chainsaw and the leather has already started to wear its dye off.
Don't expect a lot of material on these either if you use them. They're heavy, but a picture makes it look like the glove is more than it is.
My advice, just go to a hardware store and try before you buy. I'll be doing that in the future. I bought these because they matched the yellow head/face/ear protection I was already wearing and they were yellow so I'd have a better eye on wear my fingers might be slipping. Don't make a purchase like I did again please.

These are light-duty gloves. The leather will not protect your hands from much. The ink used to dye them black faded all over my hands and it took a lot of scrubbings and about 2 days for it to come off. These gloves are part of my everyday work outfit. In fact, I have a pair in the truck, in the garage and one that I take to work with me.
