I am a woman, an avid gardener, who was tired of getting debris in my eyes when chopping the ground or pruning branches overhead. My opthamologist said she sees MANY patients with serious eye injuries from gardening. So I looked for protective eyewear at Lowe's, but they didn't stock anything with bifocals. When I looked to see what Amazon had, I was delighted to find these Dewalt safety glasses with bifocals. I ordered them for myself for Christmas! The glasses hug my face securely, don't slip, protect my eyes, and help me see clearly. Now that I know these are perfect, I am going to order a second pair in a dark tint for gardening sunglasses. They may not be beautiful or feminine, but they will protect my eyes from injury.
