I've owned a couple pairs of these (as my eyes have deteriorated, alas), and I think they're by far the best bifocals I own. The dark lenses work perfectly as sunglasses; the light lenses are fine for indoor use and reading. They're cheap, last a long time, and don't look like Tottering Old Man Glasses. Dewalt DPG59-220C Reinforcer Rx-Bifocal 2.0 Smoke are for those of us that don't like carring two pairs of glasses around and switching between them. These glasses are light and fit well. I bought these and the clear lenses for riding the motorcycle - I'm farsighted and these help in reading the odometer & trip meter and they work great for that. The clear lenses I use for around the shop and yard work. Wish I'd had found these glasses sooner. I would buy them again.Customer Review: Don't Meet Safety Standards

As a contact lens wearer I've become a fan of protective eyewear with built-in bifocal lenses (MSA Safety Works 10061646 Bifocal Safety Glasses, 2.0 Diopeter). These were a nice discovery in a sunglass since they have UV protection and I liked the design. The tint is effective in bright sunlight but not too dark.
Their effectiveness as "protective safety glasses" is questionable. The lenses are marked for the diopter but not for any safety standard such as ANSI or OSHA, kind of surprising considering the Dewalt brand. I dropped them once and the lens scratched much too easily in my opinion, adding to my concern about lens quality.
They are fairly comfortable for me, but the earpieces don't fit very securely; I find them easily knocked off. I like that the bifocal area of the lens is not visible from the front and the diopter seems as marked, but I wish the bifocal area was a bit lower & smaller; it interferes with my "normal" field of vision to the point where it's annoying.
I wouldn't count on them for serious protection since they don't meet any safety standards. I decided I prefer Stick On Bifocals (OPTX 20/20 Stick-On Bifocals, +2.00) on a pair of tinted MSA ANSI-compliant safety glasses over these. I think MSA safety glasses are better made and finished, more scratch resistant and fit me better.
