Tools and Hardware Reviews of Dewalt DPG59-220C Reinforcer Rx-Bifocal 2.0 Smoke Lens High Performance Protective Safety Glasses with Rubber Temples and Protective Eyeglass Sleeve

Customer Review: Love These Glasses
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought a clear pair and shaded to wear as sun glasses. The sun glasses are as good as the clear lens. My review of the clear lens Dewalt safety glasses is below.

I'm 46 and wear reading glasses. It's gotten to the point I have to put on my reading glasses to see the tape measure, see to cut the line with a saw, etc - until now. These things are awesome! They have built in bifocals. Look down through the bifocal, you can see up close. Look up or straight ahead and you see through the regular safety glass. The bifocal part of the glasses is slightly oversized - for example, big enough so you can see the saw blade and the line you're cutting, not say just one tiny spot. The quality of the lenses seems good too. Objects are clear and sharp. They are stylish enough for a variety of uses and inexpensive enough to be disposable or easily replaceable - light and comfortable too. They even come with a protective sleeve to protect the lenses. Just remember... this is a review for $11.00 safety glasses, not $300.00 prescription glasses. Whoever came up with this idea is a genius. I just ordered a second pair with the smoked lenses for working outside (or reading a book on the beach, or sunglasses that let me see to tie a fly when fly fishing, you get the idea). Highly recommended!

Customer Review: Low cost option for sports use
Summary: 4 Stars

I use the glasses primarily for Triathlons.
You can pay big bucks for "proper" sports glasses... these are a low cost alternative that work fine... the only problem is that the "removable" rubber temples (nose pieces) have a tendency to "remove" themselves and get lost.

Customer Review: Makita bifocal glasses
Summary: 5 Stars

this is an excellent product. I actually use them bicycling so I can read the map and the bike computer.I bought them in smoke and clear and use the clear on cloudy days. They are a tiny bit large for my head and I have a slightly larger than average head. So if you have a small head they may be too big for you.

Customer Review: Man size glasses
Summary: 4 Stars

Great in every way; except way too big for my face. Over 5 7/8" across hinge points. Won't fit inside my motorcycle helmet, either. If you're my size check out BearKats.

Customer Review: Nose pieces come off
Summary: 3 Stars

I really like the glasses except that the nose pieces slip off and get lost. Then the glasses are no longer comfortable. So far I have not found where I can get replacement nose pieces.
