Tools and Hardware Reviews of Dewalt DPG82-11C Concealer Clear Anti-Fog Dual Mold Safety GoggleCustomer Review: CAUTION !!! METAL IN MY EYE !!!! Summary: 1 Stars
DO NOT BUY THESE GOGGLES... The venting system is seriously flawed. While wearing these goggles and using a dremel tool cutting wheel a small piece of metal flew through the vent hole, bounced off of the INSIDE of the goggle lens and firmly planted into my right eye. Ever have your eye scraped to remove the rust ring that is left in your eye from implanted metal? Like your worst trip to the dentist. Although I never broke out into a cold sweat and felt like passing out at the Dentist office.
Buyer Beware. Go for the MCR Safety PGX1 Safety Goggle MCR Safety PGX1 Safety Goggle, Professional Grade, Clear Lens, Anti-Fog Coating #CPGX110AF. Much better product.
Thanks for the eye damage Dewalt
Customer Review: Comfort plus Visibility plus Name Summary: 5 Stars
These goggles are fantastic for the price. They are the most comfortable safety glasses I have ever worn. They have a nice suction to your face as well to keep out dust particles and stuff. They are very lightweight. Fit my head perfectly and are crystal clear.
Customer Review: Comfortable goggles that do fog up. Summary: 3 Stars
Needed a new set of goggles and these were on sale.
the not so good:
They have fogged up on occasion. I was wearing them in 80 degree weather running a chainsaw and they fogged up.
I've also worn them in the attic to keep insulation at bay and there was some mild fogging.
the good:
Good price, very comfortable.
overall:
I would buy them again. If fogging is a major concern look elsewhere, however anti-fog spray would probably do the trick.
Customer Review: Comfortable, doesn't fog up much, way better than $2 safety glasses Summary: 4 Stars
I've used these for about 12-16 hours in my shop now, and they are significantly better than the $2 safety glasses I used to use. For one, they offer complete eye-protection, and as advertised, they don't fog up much at all--I've often had a hard time with fog, and it tends to happen at the worst times (deep into a cut with a circular saw, etc.) I haven't had that problem with these at all. They do get a little foggy if I wear them for extended periods, but taking them off for 5 minutes dries them out.
Tonight I was using a saw and a wood chip got flung at my face and hit the goggles, which inspired this review. I was very glad I wasn't wearing my $2 glasses.
I'm purely an amateur in the shop, but I do have opinions on products--and I like these goggles.
Customer Review: Comfortable-Well made item Summary: 4 Stars
The reason for 4 stars is that I havent determined if it fogs or not. So far, No Fogging. They are extremely well made and fit very comforable. I am in the process of ripping MDF which spews out immense dust and particles. With regular safety glasses I was always having to squint so as to not get it in my eyes, even with the glasses on. These glasses are great. No dust or particles get in my eyes at all. I have a small face and they fit perfectly. Worth more than I paid. Im going to order the "Smoke" pair for outside.
