Tools and Hardware Reviews of Dewalt DPG82-11C Concealer Clear Anti-Fog Dual Mold Safety GoggleCustomer Review: Great Safety Goggles!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I really don't like DeWalt as a company, so when I bought these I wasn't expecting much. Well lets just say I was amazed and changed my opinion about DeWalt (slightly). These are great goggles! Tried them going inside to outside and vice versa. A little bit of fog around the edges, but nothing is truly "Fog Free" only fog resistant and these definitely did a wonderful job. They sit nice and comfortable against my face (though everyone's different), not pressure point or pinch points at all. The head band is well designed, very comfortable, and pretty easy to adjust/tighten on the fly. I do a lot of various construction jobs for my rescue squad, and these are great protection since the sides, bottom, and top are all "sealed". It really keeps your eyes protected, doesn't cause my eyes to sweat or condensation to form. I will be ordering a few extra pairs soon.
Customer Review: Great goggles that will last Summary: 5 Stars
Very few problems so far with fogging here in Hawaii, but I imagine that if it were a major issue I could just spray a little anti-fog used for snorkle equipment in there. Remember, these are advertised as anti-fog, not fog proof! You're going to have a hard time finding any goggles that won't fog at least a little in a real-world work environment.
I was actually pleasantly surprised that the "gasket" was a very comfortable rubber-like material. That's a great bonus for me, since foam deteriorates quickly here. I plan to buy more for my crew, since they like them also.
Customer Review: I have 2 Pair, Buying a 3rd. Summary: 5 Stars
No safety goggles will be fog free, but these are the closest I've found. I have over 10 pairs of various safety goggles, but the Dewalt's are the only ones I will actually use. I wear them over my big goofy eyeglasses and gigantic nose with no problems. These goggles don't seem to interfere too much with wearing a respirator either. I work with them inside, outside, winter, spring, fall, and summer in all sorts of environments and projects from building furniture to demolition to cutting tile to framing to mixing concrete. They will scratch, like any plastic lenses, unless you clean them properly. I always rinse particulates from mine in the sink before cleaning them with a clean cloth, never paper towels. I bought the first pair 2 years ago and they are still in great shape even after getting smacked in the face with a ladder and having a chunk of re-bar hurled at me. I'm only getting the 3rd pair for convenience. Between the studio, workshop, work, and house projects, I should probably get 4.
Customer Review: IT ALSO BLOWS Summary: 1 Stars
ANTI-FOG MY BUT!!!!!!!!! FOGS UP IN MINUTES...VENTS USELESS...DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I PURCHASED BOTH CLEAR AND SMOKED. I MIGHT AS WELL HAVE THROWN MY CASH IN THE TRASH!
Customer Review: Inexpensive, good quality Summary: 5 Stars
I bought these goggles along with 3M respirators for spray painting approximately 30 gallons of paint. I wear glasses and these worked well with the glasses. The fog is just a fact of life, so I just had to learn to deal with it. These were good quality, easy to clean, comfortable to wear, and did not let any fumes bother me one bit.
