I've owned the Dimplex CS3311 Compact Electric Stove for 3 months and love it. I have tried other electric heaters but have found this one to be far superior. It was delivered quickly and was ready to use right out of the box. It's surprisingly light and looks amazingly real - the "flames" look very convincing. Admittedly I have a very small house, but I was able to turn off my gas furnace completely and heat the first floor with this heater alone. I purchased this for my kitchen which is a large room with 9' ceilings. I wanted something to take the chill out on winter mornings, and this does it. I doubt it would heat an entire room since it is really only a space heater, but I have mine directed toward the table, and it keeps us warm while we are eating and adds a bit of ambience as well.

I'm a lover of real wood burning fireplaces, however I have a gas fireplace that came with the new home I purchased. My family room is in the basement & is always very chilly, especially in the winter. I bought this thinking it would look a little fake but may help take off the chill and to my surprise, it heats my HUGE family room (ten foot ceilings) and I'm floored that this cute little stove warms the entire room! I have to say with all honesty, the flames look real and I'm pretty picky! I did a lot of research before making this purchase, looked at many different vendors and heard this manufacturer was the best and this product was highly rated. I love this little stove!
I orginally purchased this stove to provide atmosphere & warmth in our sunroom. Our mid-west summer was very short, but this powerful little stove has extended the use or our unheated 12'x14' room by months. I love the remote feature & am very impressed with the quality and appearance. The outside of the stove remains cool to the touch (an essential safty feature).
In anticipation of a long & cold winter,I am thinking of purchasing another for the master bedroom.
