For an approximately 1300 SF new mountain cabin, we needed a tiny little fireplace for a 28 foot corner of the Living Room. This elegant little stove with a nicely warm blower fits the bill perfectly. It goes neatly across the corner and simulates a beautiful flame. The operation of the unit is air-tight, without requirement of vent, and has already saved $11,000 or less over a traditional fireplace. I ordered this heater for my guest room. I like it so much it hasn't left my den so I have ordered a 2nd one. The flame is more realistic than one a bought at Wal-Mart a couple of years ago. It is sitting a cross the room from me and my toes are very harm. However, I have not used it as a sole heating source.Customer Review: Everything I wanted!

I recently bought a new home and wanted an extra heat source for downstairs in the basement. The Family Room and my daughter's bedroom are downstairs. Plus, I wanted whatever I bought to look like a piece of furniture. This Dimplex unit is everything I wanted and more! It looks very classy--I was afraid the 'flames' may look cheesy, but they don't at all. Several people have thought it was a real fire until I told them different. I bought two flat stones at Lowe's to put underneath it to give it a 'hearth' look--it really adds to the authenticity. I am seriously considering buying another unit for my upstairs. I recommended this item 100%! You will not be disappointed!
