Customer Review: A note about the wear and tear...

I just bought a house with this peel and stick tile on the kitchen and bathroom floors. The look of it is great and the fact that they come 4, 6x6in. squares to a tile make it seems much easier to install than individual black and white tiles. I love it so much that I am looking for more so that I can redo them. The reason I gave them 4 stars however is because the wear and tear is not so great. Like any floor the tiles scratch easily, but these scratches are MUCH more visible on this floor because of the black. Also, the textured surface treatment does collect the dirt differently then a flat tile will. I find them a little difficult to clean, and, just a warning, black floors show EVERYTHING so you will be cleaning them often. I don't know how long these floors have been down in my house but a lot of the corners are beginning to pull up and snap off and the tiles are sliding...which may have just been an installation issue... STILL here I am possibly looking to reorder them so they're not so bad...Im just comparing them to the untextured tiles or actual black and white tile...(but that's a definite budget issue...)
