I didn't like it for sleeping on planes. It is too hard and rigid to wrap it around your neck or head. My dentist has some for lying back in a dentist chair, which makes the procedure more comfy.Customer Review: Does what it should

A good pillow to keep your neck aligned properly while resting. My wife used these to sleep with all the time, I guess it depends on what you get used to.
Handy shape, good for napping, traveling, and even a good nights sleep if your so inclined.

This product was not what we expected. The product description implied that the pillow was one of the "squishey" types that have a granular filler material. I had been waking every morning with a stiff neck. I used a "Swedish" neck pillow ($130) for a while but after a few months, it stopped relieving the morning stiffness. The dogbone pillow takes a little getting used to but does the job.
