Thanks for offering this neck pillow in a solid color, I had purchased one many moons ago ( 13 years ago ) for my Mum as a stocking stuffer.. She took hers everywhere, on cruise ships, trips to Europe and our trip to China. It finally fell apart after years of washing. My whole family is hooked on these. Mum is thrilled with her new pillow and loves the solid colour. Cheers Renee

This bone neck pillow was a replacement for a bone neck pillow that my husband had used for years and had worn out. This item was hard to find at a reasonable price, but found it on Amazon, thank goodness. Gave it to him for his birthday. He loves it and uses it all them time.

Customer Review: Great Pillow but not for everyone

I bought two of these pillows for a long car trip from NYC to Miami. I installed them a couple days before, and my girlfriend and I tested them out when we drive around town. She absolutely loves hers, while for me it wasn't terribly comfortable. This is due to the height of the back of my seat and it's position compared to my neck. She's 5'6" and I'm 6'2" so our heads are at very different levels by the headrest - my DogBones pillow was supporting more of my upper back instead of my neck.
We did make use of the second pillow - it makes a great lumbar support pillow, and my gf can't imagine going for a drive without it. Also, I tried it in a different car - w/ taller seats, and it was great. Overall, I think it's a great product but the position is really the deciding factor in whether or not it's comfortable and unfortunately that has a lot to do with the height of the user and the seat.

2/24/11: Great pillow replaces fabulous old pillow. A 'bit' softer, but firmer than I expected. Will buy another replacement based on satisfaction with this one.
