I bought my bookcase at a Target store. For the price, you can't beat it. Much better quality than what I saw at comparable retailers...actually better quality than a non-folding bookcase that I saw at higher-end store. At this price, I dont expect a family heirloom...just something that is attractive and stable that I won't mind giving away when my tastes change.Customer Review: Awesome bookcase!

Easiest bookshelf to put together EVER! I got this for my boyfriend for Christmas and all we had to do was open the package and fold it out. Best investment yet! I am however, glad that I bought it on sale and didn't pay full price. It is nice and easy but I'm not sure it's THAT nice and easy.
Overall, very happy!

Most of the shelving had completely fallen apart when I opened the carton. There were also a couple of places where the hardware caused the wood to split. We tried to push/pull everything back into place without success. Poor workmanship all the way around. Returned it to the store. Fifty bucks for an all wood bookcase! And free shipping too! I was looking for something to handle the overflow of my DVD collection from some other cabinets and this bookcase has done the job wondefully. I put my DVD 'collections' (James Bond, Highlander, Lord of the Rings, Matrix, etc.) and it looks really sharp. The wife likes it so much that we have decided to buy a second and put the rest of the DVDs on it. We are also replacing our aged coffee table and end table with the matching ones. Now, if only they did an entertainment center too...
