Sharp looking and, yes, downright sexy. Perfect piece to add warmth to your room with a bit of wood while keeping that same space light and airy, due to this bookcase's lightweight (yet sturdy) and open design.
Absolutely no assembly! Just open and unfold.
The dark walnut blends well with espresso and creams. It also holds its own next higher-end furniture. I absolutely adore this bookcase and, if I can figure out where to put more, will be ordering another one or two or three.

my boyfriend and i bought this item from a nearby store to use as an entertainment center. since we only have three pieces of equipment it was a perfect size, the bottom two selves were very useful. Although we had to take out the support on the bottom for the reciever to fit, it looks outstanding. friends often mistake for a piece from potterbarn or peir 1 and for the cost it has completed its job for us...cheap and extremely beautiful!Customer Review: Expected TALLER but for the price it's great!

As others have noted you definitely need to have in mind the size/height you are looking for. When shopping online I just looked at the picture and it looked taller in the picture than it actually is in real life but the low price more than makes up for it! Excellent color. Goes with most of todays modern furnishings. The workmanship isn't the best but you get what you pay for. Easily sets up in minutes - that's what I liked - just unfold and !voila! Instant Shelf! The depths of the shelves are staggered so you can put small books on the top shelves and the larger books on the bottom.

I purchased my first bookcase last Christmas as a gift for my husband...we both fell in love with it! We have purchased bookcases in the past at a much lower price, but after spending several hours putting them together, and the fact that they are nothing but pressed wood and cardboard backs, they are not worth the savings! This one is so simple...take it out of the box and 'open' up the sides - Voila! Your bookcase is ready to load! Just purchased 2 more online this past Monday as our local Target no longer carries these either - what a shame that is! Quick delivery too - had them on my front porch on Thursday! The fact that I purchased them with free shipping was a much appreciated added bonus - saved about $30! Told my husband that eventually we would buy more, as they hold lots of books or other stuff while not taking up a lot of space. I see they still have free shipping, so just may have to do that now - and before they discontinue them online too! They also keep your room looking big and open - you know, you start putting in those cheaper bookcases and all of a sudden your room looks tiny and 'boxed in', if you know what I mean. As for the difference in color - it just adds character! These bookcases are well worth the price! No complaints here!!!!!!
