Customer Review: Dorcy Flashlight - poor experience

We received the product from Amazon directly within a couple days. Packaging was fine. We charged the unit for the specified 15 hours then tried to use it. The unit did not light at all. We installed the spare bulb - still didn't light. We removed the battery cover and rechargeable battery. The terminal connections to the battery seem to be of pretty poor quality. We tried to make an adjustment and charged overnight again, it still didn't work. We processed the return today (luckily we bought it from Amazon directly). Our overall assessment is that the unit is made pretty cheaply. We really didn't like the plug in the bottom and the way the unit would just hang from the outlet either (seems too heavy, and that at some point it might pull out and fall to the floor). At $32.99, even if it worked, it seems overpriced. Our advice is to look for a different make of rechargeable flashlight.
