This flashlight works as promised. You plug it into the wall to charge it and can store it plugged in so you always know where to find it. There's a little red light on the top that lights when you extend the prongs to plug the flashlight into the wall and the flashlight will not operate when you take it off the all unless you flip the prongs back into the handle turning off the little red light. A bit of an annoyance, but not a problem. The directions don't specifically say you can leave the flashlight plugged into the wall for weeks/months, but it does say there's a mechanism that protects it from overcharging, and the flashlight doesn't even feel warm after being plugged in for weeks. It hangs neatly against the wall, out of the way and still leaves the other wall socket available for use. Highly recommended as a good, always easy to find, always charged up and ready to go flashlight.
