We just purchased this product for the first time to do all of our windows in our 2 level 3 bedroom apartment. After spending over 3 hours just doing the dining room windows, my partner and I are ready for a divorce! We decided to use one large piece for the 3 windows; they are side by side by side with the end two being able to open, though an exaggerated statement it did take us 3 hours, lots of yelling and swearing and in the end we got nowhere!! We do live in an older apartment building where the window leak. Today it is blowing through the windows enough to blow the shrink film away from the window making it much more challenging than we ever expected. We went through a roll of packing tape to make sure it would stick; the double-sided tape provided was almost useless. We managed to reseal all edges then tried to use the hairdryer; the wind was so strong the tape was bursting from the seal. In the end we unsealed and resealed the entire window and skipping the shrink part. At least now we can not feel the breeze from that section of the apartment. The other 4 boxes we purchased are in the bag and ready to be returned to the store. I would rather pay higher hydro bills than go through that again!
