This flidget serves to hook your portable dishwasher hose to a more narrow kitchen sink faucet. You screw this part to your faucet, tighten it well, and attach the dishwasher hose to it. I needed a new one because the one I had been using for several years became worn and failed, and would slip off the connector under the slightest amount of water pressure. The replacement part arrived promptly, fit perfectly, seems to be well made (I have been using it for several months now with no issues), and wasn't horribly overpriced even with shipping costs. I am satisfied.
