I was a little concerned about customer complaints that the base was unsteady, but but the item anyway. The fan attaches to the base by three screws. The triangle formed by these screws is not equal on all sides and you have to make sure each hole on the base is aligned with the corresponding well on the fan. I did not note this at first and the fan was very unsteady. Once I assembled it correctly, there is a little play in the base, but the fan does not tilt at all during operation. Although I was it was a bit quieter, it probably makes less noise than the circular fan it replaced.Customer Review: Good Fan with decent features

I bought this fan after reading reviews. Price less $30 is what pushed me to buy this fan. Its v easy to setup. Fan speed is sufficient for mid size bedroom. I wish it had bit more height. But for the price, its v nice fan. I m quite happy with it.Customer Review: Good condition

I've had this fan for 2 years or so and I use it during the summer months. It's not too loud and still works fine after 2 years. It's a tower fan so doesn't generate as much air flow as a box fan so don't expect it to cool a large room. The only other down side is the lack of timer controls, so I just leave it on throughout the night.Customer Review: Good for the money

This is a great little fan, especially for the money that we paid for it. My wife put it together, and it seems to work fine, although we had some parts left over, but it works fine, not too noisy either. Not much more to say, it does what it says its supposed to do.
