Bought the fan for our bedroom, wasnt sure if it was going to be powerful enough for it. This fan exceeded all my expectations. It is fairly quite and provides a good amount of breeze even on the lowest setting. I live in Arizona and hate paying huge AC bills so I employ a judicious amount of fans. I was tired of lugging my tower fan from my bedroom to my computer room so I bought one of these for the computer room and it works great. Oscillates smoothly, blows lots of air and is as quiet as any fan can be.
The only reason it get 4 stars is I wish it were taller. Most tower fans have an extra pedestal of plastic to make the fan taller it has the same size fan blades as the olthers do but doesn't reach as high which kills any use for my bedroom, otherwise I would have bought a second one.

I read all of these reviews before purchasing this fan, and totally love the fan! Works great, took two minutes to assemble, runs quietly and smoothly, stable, and moves air up to 15' on low setting. I'm very happy with this fan and highly recommend it - especially for the price! Thanks to everyone who takes time to write reviews...it was most helpful in making my decision.
