Tools and Hardware Reviews of Electrolux Cordless Quick-Up CleanCustomer Review: A Must Have Vacuum! Summary: 5 Stars
This is one of the best items I have ever owned for cleaning up/vacuuming up quick. I love the wall attachment charger. I have had this model for 7 yrs and use it 3-4 times a week and it just keeps going.. Just recently after yrs of use the handle broke and I kept on using it, next the clip that kept the dust cup on broke and I kept on using it. Now finally the battery is falling off and I had to reluctently throw it away.
So I have been with out the vacuum 4 days and I am here to buy another. No other brand or style will do for me.
Customer Review: A PERFECT ADDITION FOR PET OWNERS Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this Quick Up as an upgrade to a $10 Eureka stick-vac that had lasted a decade. Having four cats and a dog, it's used every single day on tile and hardwood. It's shocking to see how much "invisible" hair it picks up from these surfaces. It's much better than just dry Swiffer, and perfect to use before mopping or wet Swiffering. It lies flat, so it can vacuum under the bed. As a hand-vac, it cleans furniture and pet bedding nicely. Small enough to vacuum in tight places and store in the refrigerator crack, but large enough to be quick and effective. A washable filter is available for it on Amazon. I don't use it on carpet, opting for the inexpensive Eureka Pet Lover lightweight upright instead. Both are a good buy and have small footprints so they are especially convenient for apartment dwellers. Together they provide solid ammunition to fight the constant battle with pet hair.
Customer Review: A Pet Owner's Dream Summary: 5 Stars
Let me preface this by saying my wife and I share a small duplex with two dogs and a cat. We've been rewarded with slobber and enough pet hair to weave rugs for all our family members.
We have tried every imaginable device or technique to clean up the hair, but our hard floors repeatedly showed our efforts futile. I read good reviews about this vacuum from pet owners, so instead of breaking down and shaving the animals bald, I purchased one.
In short, this thing is the answer to our problem. It's a snap to assemble, charge, and use, and the removable handle and rotating brush make for nice features. This little thing grabs every little bit of hair we have lying around, without fail. Better yet, it's light and keeps a charge for much longer than I had anticipated.
If you have animals, the $40 or so you pay for this vacuum is worth every penny. You can keep the broom and dustpan in the garage.
Customer Review: A Quick Pick Up Summary: 5 Stars
I am so happy I found a replacement for my other cordless that gave up. Quick & convenient for my lifestyle.
Customer Review: A good cordless vac 2/24/10 Summary: 4 Stars
I have been looking for a cordless, lightweight vacuum for "in between" cleanings on my tile floors in the kitchen, utility room and pretty much 80% of my downstairs.
THIS IS IT. I have used the swiffer vac for 2 years. Having to buy a new one each year. I liked the swiffer but the battery life is so bad both per use AND overall over time.
I read reviews on the Eureka Quick up but could't find one to try first. Well last week I found one charged at Sears. It does just what I need and more. I have a very sheddy Lab and 3 other short hair dogs. The suction is great for pet hair balls, and doesn't push the hair away from the vacuum on tile. It gets the dust and light dirt bought in from outside, the little spiders and other pests, yuck ... gone!
it does surprisingly well on throw rugs also. I am able to vacuum my entire 1600sf area downstairs with several throw rugs.
It is a bit messy to get the dust out, but worth while. I put it in a plastic grocery bag and shake well.
The plastic wheels do make a litle bit of noise on tile, be sure to wipe them down and also remove the hair and strings that wrap around the beater brush.
I don't think you will be disappointed, I am seriously considering getting a spare.
Hope this helps others wondering if this works. IT DOES.
