The Electrolux Cordless Quick Up Clean is a great machine for cleaning hardwoods, tile floors, and rugs. The unit charges fast and stays charged for a long time. I did a lot of research prior to purchasing the product. I examined the Swifter and other brands. Many of the other brands require you to replace a cleaning pad after every use which could be a large expense over a machine's years of use. Also, many of the reviews of the other products were negative with respect to their effectiveness in cleaning floors. The Electrolux only requires you to open up the body of the unit and empty the dirt out into the trash. With the Electrolux there are no additional pads needed to purchase.
The World Gym where I work out uses this model to clean the floors of the entire gym. The gym has about 4000 square feet of space. The club floors are always clean.
The only recommendation would be is to have the unit be able to stand up on its own when it is not in its wall charger. You could lean the unit against a wall and it will stand up. However, in some ways it is not too bad to have the unit only store in the wall charging unit in that you will never forget where you stored the unit.
If you need a great product at a good price buy this unit. I was surprised Bed, Bath, and Beyond did not carry this unit. I liked the unit so much, so I decided to purchase a unit for my sister.

I was very skeptical when my friend was talking about this Cordless Quick-Up Clean vacuum. I got my "first one" as a holiday present from my dear friend. Now, after 4-5 years I just purchased 4th vacuum cleaner to use in my apartment and country house!
Love it! Found as one of the most useful tool for cleaning your house or apartment. Best gift to my friends and family! Best recommendations.

The Eureka Quick-up is the best cordless vac I have ever used. Believe me, having 4 cats I have tried plenty of them. It has a strong motor, rotating brushes and a filter bag that is easy to empty. I have been using this model vac for over 6 years and have found nothing that work as good. It comes with 2 batteries and a wall charger that you can use to hang and charge the vac when not in use. The batteries last about 1 year with normal use. It is great for quick clean-ups (not intended to be used as a whole house vacuum). This the best hand vac I have ever used and I have used a lot. It really cleans carpet and hard surfaces with very little effort and because its so light weight and portable you will be finished using it in no time. When Eureka made this vac they really did a great job. Just keep it pluged in and it will always be ready to use. I use my every day of the year. I actually use it more often then my much more expensive cleaners because its so light weight and simple to use and does just as good at cleaning. This vac has a one year warranty so hang on to your sale slip in case it breaks. I think I would order 2 of these so you will always have one while you send the broken one back for repair or replacement.Customer Review: Can't Handle Cheerios

We have two small kids and two cats and bought this vacuum for the linoleum and hardwood floors in the house. The clearance is so low that it can't pick up Cheerios or cat food. It does an adequate job on dust and crumbs, but that's not why we bought it. I end up pushing a lot of bits of food around into a pile, then pick up the vacuum and try to set it on top of it. We're upgrading to the Hoover LINX Cordless Stick Vacuum.
