I bought mine to replace a previous rechargeable unit I had a few years ago. I have a dog and cat that are shedding like crazy right now and I got sick of bending over with the dust buster. I bought mine at Walmart for about $35 and am pleasantly surprised at it's ability to clean. I wasn't expecting big things as it's a cheap vacuum. I just need something that's light and I can whip out for quick clean ups. For a stick vac, this has amazing suction. Just keep in mind, the lint cup has to be emptied every use or else the suction suffers. It's just the way it is. I'm happy so far.

I've tried several different cordless vacuums lately, returning most of them because they did not work to my expectations. I stopped at this one and plan to keep it. It's not the best stick-vac in the world, but it does it's job. I definitely had to charge it longer than 16 hours (as suggested by the manufactuer). It took a good 24+ hours to get it into full charge mode. Also, one thing that I think ALL stick-vac should have, and this one does not of course, is a small space in the front of the vacuums to pick up slightly thicker items such as cereal. It seems to be a rare feature on all the stick-vacs that should really be a standard. It's so annoying to have to tilt the vacuum sideways to drop it on top of the cereal in order to suck it up. Also, I don't like that the charge base HAS to be mounted on the wall, I hate putting holes in the walls. However, in order for the charger to stay on effectively, it has to be mounted on the to wall. That's about the only reason I have it a 4 instead of 5 (1/2 point off for the cereal issues and 1/2 for having to put holes in the walls).Customer Review: Don't be fooled by ENERGY STAR

I've had the 96A and 96B models, and really liked them except that if you leave them on the charging stand they overcharge the batteries which ruins them in about 6-9 months. I bought the 96F model because it was energy star approved which I assumed meant it had a Smart Charger like Dirt Devil's AccuCharge which reduces the charge to a trickle so it doesn't kill the batteries. Well, this charger is exactly the same as the 96B except they changed the value of one resistor. It is in no way is a smart charger. It will kill the batteries just like all of their previous models if you leave it on the charger. Leaving it off the charger isn't a good option for me as the batteries self discharge between uses. Although the product works like a 4 when new, I'm giving them a 1 for deception.Customer Review: EFFICIENT LITTLE VACUUM!

Love this new addition to the cleaning arsinal! We have two dogs, a grandbaby, and a wood stove. I got this mostly to keep the living room rug clean, which it does wonderfully. Rather than dragging out the canister Electrolux, this little vacuum handles the daily stuff on the floor. One of our dogs is a shed machine, which was the main reason for this purchase. This vacuum does not dissapoint. If I go over the rug, I am amazed to see what comes out of the filtered cup. I do mostly use it on carpeting, because that is where all the stuff seems to collect, dog hair, and travels to the wood stove (bits of wood and such), but I am also pleased with it's performance on all of the wood and tile floors in our house.
Of course, this is no deep cleaner, but that's not it's purpose. It's light, handy and efficient. The battery seems to run quite a long time, so that is no problem. So far, I see no drawbacks to owning this. I checked reviews and are very satisfied from others' experience.
This is a worthwhile inexpensive purchase for the cleaning between the regular vacuuming my larger 'real' vacuum. Just the convenience alone is so worthwhile...to just clean up alittle mess.
I would purchase the same one again in a minute!

I had this product recommended to my by a friend and find that it is everything she said it was. Great suction, lightweight and holds a charge for a long time. Works as well on rugs as on bare floors. I'm really glad I bought it!
