I have had Electrolux vacuums throughout my life, but this one is the best! I love the small size and the way it folds to fit in a small area for storage. The suction is amazing. If I were forced to find something less than perfect about it, then it would be the 20ft cord. The Electrolux Intensity upright- excellent design, suction, and storage.
I love the fact that it is so simple in design without all of the hoses and attachments.
All I ever did with the hoses and attachments on my old Hoover was trip over them, Struggle with them, and curse at them when they fell all over the place.
As for the small bag, larger bags just reduce suction. Also, the dirt inside larger bags just collects, then the dirt begins to stink and whenever you turn on the vac it smells.
Small bag is the way to go.
Excellent product, you wont be disappointed.

I love this vacuum. I have hardwood and Berber carpet in my home and it is a very small home. This vacuum is so compact but has a lot of power and makes sweeping very easy with little effort. This is really the best vacuum I've owned. It picks up everything - and usually on the first stroke through the carpet. I've had a hard time getting hair off a low pile rug, but this vacuum picked it all right up. It is light, easy to store, and is able to get under furniture easily.
I read some reviews prior to my purchase about people having to empty the bag after just one run through their house, but I have not had the same experience. Perhaps they had pets.
Another common complaint I noticed in some reviews was that it was hard to push. I must agree with that. It seems they put some resistance on the wheels for some reason. I need the workout anyway. I wish the cord was a tad bit longer, but that doesn't bother me too much either.
