We ended up returning this vacuum as it definitely has great suction, but the trade off is the small bag (it's bag is smaller than my hand held vacuum!). Plus, it was difficult to turn and get into small areas. Can't beat the price, so if you had a large area that didn't need much navigating and you were only vacuuming occasionally, it may be just what you need. Otherwise, it may be worth the few extra bucks to get something more user friendly.Customer Review: Great suction, cord too short!

This is a great little vacuum, with wonderful cleaning capacity. My one complaint is that the cord is not long enough. It is difficult to clean a large room without stopping frequently to plug into another outlet. Major oversight!Customer Review: Great vacuum

I read all the consumer reviews before buying this vacuum and agree that the Electrolux Intensity is a great little machine. It's stylish and folds down for easy storing, but it has strong suction for such a small vacuum.
On the downside, the dust bags are small, so I purchased a bunch of extra ones. If you have wool area rugs, it will fill the bags up fast. However, I still prefer it to my 2 previous bagless vacuums.
The retractable cord is an excellent feature, but it's on the short side. And as someone else had noted, the wheels are kind of 'tight' making it hard to push around - mine is like that too, but I think it's becuase the wheels lock when it's in the upright position.
One final thing - there are no attachments for this vacuum, but for my needs it's not needed. I would definitely buy this vacuum again!

I actually bought this vacuum a couple of years ago when I was moving and my vacuum cleaner suddenly stopped working. As a result, I paid full price for it, but I have never regretted it. It cleans far better than any other vacuum I have had. I am now moving from a one level home to a two-level home and am considering buying a second one. True, it lacks attachments, but a little handheld vacuum easily replaces them. Highly recommended.
