Tools and Hardware Reviews of Electrolux Home Care 62550D Power Paw Vacuum ToolCustomer Review: Born: June 29, 2009. Died: August 19, 2009. R.I.P. Summary: 1 Stars
The Eureka Power Paw cannot handle my Eureka 600 air watt central vacuum. It will be returned to W*****t tomorrow for a refund. I'll try a Hoover hand vacuum and see how long that will last. So, here goes the Power Paw's obituary:
Born: June 29, 2009. Died: August 19, 2009. R.I.P.
Customer Review: Breaks easily - really disappointed Summary: 2 Stars
I've had my Eureka upright for just 6 months and I bought it because I have a lot of stairs and a dog that sheds. The Power Paw stopped rotating about 3 months in, so I took it apart, cleaned out the hair, and noticed a small piece had broken off the inside plastic piece holding in the roller. I had the plastic piece but didn't realize that's what it was until it stopped rotating again last week, and I found the plastic piece on the other side had a piece broken off. I tried to super glue one of the broken pieces back on (had to use tweezers to hold the small piece) but it wouldn't take. So now I either pay $16 for a new Power Paw or do without. I have lots of stairs so I really needed this to work and I am very disappointed with it. I expected better from Eureka.
Customer Review: Does the job the Dyson attachment doesn't! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought a Power Paw when the upholstery attachment that came with my Dyson didn't work as expected. (The darn rotary would stop every time I put it on my fabric!) The Power Paw was less than $20 and cleans EXACTLY the way I was anticipating. I have 3 cats and it cleans the cat hair off the furniture in no time. LOVE IT!
Customer Review: Get Your Paws On A Power Paw Summary: 5 Stars
The Power Paw is a great attachment for my Eureka vacuum cleaner. Getting pet fur off furniture and drapes is a snap.
I had a housekeeper who managed to break the one that came with my vacuum. How she did what she did to break it is beyond me. But, at least I was able to replace it and do my own vacuuming. Maybe hiring help only helps you realize you don't need any help.
Customer Review: Good Tool, but breaks easily Summary: 4 Stars
I am shopping for my THIRD one of these. the first two started going slower and slower... and then just stop spinning... I don't know if they just ware out but it does such a good job that I am looking to buy it again and again. Just wish it would last longer.... I bought this vaccum a year ago, (so one every six months) It does have a high pitched noise that my gets on my nerves, but since it takes the hair away... its worth it!
