Works well and puts out a lot of light. Only thing I can say is it needs an over the head expandable strap to keep it from working its way down your forehead when used in a mine pounding on rocks. The vibration of the pounding makes it slip if you are sweating a lot. I had to readjust the strap many times and when you get it so that it does not slip it is to tight on your head for comfort. With a helmet it stays just fine if the helmet you are using has that little bill in the front.Customer Review: Led Headlamp

Super fast shipping, from CA to MI in 3 days at no charge. The package was a little beat up when it got here almost looked like it had been opened or it was water damage but the product itself was in fine shape. It is quite small and the lamp button is a little flimsy looking and kinda shakes around but i would think as long as you don't treat it like crap it should function just fine for what it does. All the features works comes with a case and batteries. white led's are VERY bright the night vision red is quite nice. All around i am looking very forward to taking this out on the dunes camping in a couple weeks here.Customer Review: Outstanding Headlamp

I bought this headlamp over 5 years ago before I deployed to Afghanistan. This rugged, efficient light probably got used 1-2 hours a night (almost always in Red light mode) for 16 months without any issues. I happened to lose my headlamp a couple years ago and I foolishly bought a PETZL which broke within 6 months of use. Luckily I found my Energizer headlamp again and I've been using it ever since. Its already got a spot in my bag as I head out for my third tour soon. This little piece of equipment really delivers.Customer Review: Read when other want to sleep-On vacation

I took this headlamp with me to the UK and when I bought books at the various castles and stately homes, I wanted to READ them at night whilst my friends wanted to sleep. This little head lamp was PERFECT and the red light is restful. We bought two of these and both have failed within a year. The on/off/on slider switch fails. Very cheap switch.
We had two of the Ray O Vac ones and the end cap holding the batteries failed on both of those. So I'm shopping for led headlamps for a third time.
