The flashlight itself is actually really nice. It has a little push button so they can just flash the light on and off or a switch to keep the light on. The thing I absolutely hate about this flashlight is that the top is impossible to screw on tightly. Even from just playing with it the top can come off and the batteries fall out. It drives my little boy crazy. Granted it might be fun for older kids to be able to take the top off and replace their own batteries but this is ridiculously easy.
