I have done my entire house single handedly and I am pleased. On hot days when the AC used to run most of the time, I would say it runs now half as long. The essential tip here is to follow the steps to the letter! The film is statically charged and therefore seeks itself to make contact, once it does, you are in trouble. The only first trick to the application is: DO NOT SPARE THE LIQUID SPRAY !!!. You will never use too much. the second: ALWAYS KEEP A SHARP BLADE !!!. The third (my favorite): As long as you have enough spray on the window and the film, you have plenty of time to take time and relax. The bubbles will squeegee out, the creases to. Take your time to identify which side is the temperature control film and which is the transparent film attached to it. I always use a piece of tape in a corner to separate the two and make sure which is which. That protective film is loaded with static and is intent on pulling back the heat control film, this is a time when things can go wrong KEEP THEM AWAY FROM EACH OTHER AS FAST AND CAREFULLY AS YOU CAN.
Gila is a great product and will give you the light you need along with the sun protection you seek. Just like anything worthwhile it does require the respect clearly explained in the directions. A "Pro" is only a "Pro" because he has experienced all the pitfalls and has practice. The Directions if followed to the letter will make you a Pro.
