Tools and Hardware Reviews of Eureka 3670G Boss Mighty Mite Canister Vacuum CleanerCustomer Review: Best floor vac EVER, especially if you have pets!! Summary: 5 Stars
Okay, I deeply love this vacuum. And let me first state that I am not the kind of person to just hand out praise over nothing. I am usually the one criticizing. I know my review is long but that's because I love this vac so much. I cleaned houses all through college and that's where I discovered this vacuum. I bought it because it was cheap! To this day it remains the one thing I CANNOT clean without.
Now, keep in mind, this is NOT a vacuum for all-carpeted houses (it has no rotating brushes) but it does work on carpet, especially if you have no pets. That said, it is ideal for old rugs that can be easily damaged by the rotating brushes. However, it is the best for floors without carpet--and everything else. The long, light-weight and adjustable hose allows you to reach ALL COBWEBS, and you can use the bristle brush to dust everything in your house without ever touching the dust yourself! I dust the leaves of my indoor plants, lamp shades, windowsills, upholstery...anything that gathers dust can be vacuumed with this! Did you groggily spill coffee grounds all over the counter making the morning coffee? Grab The Boss.
It uses bags (they aren't the most common size, MM, but are at walmart and kmart and they're cheap so stock up) which I love. I don't understand the whole 'bagless' craze--it just means you get to scrape the crud out with your hands.
It comes with a few attachments all of which work incredibly well. It has an edger that I use on baseboards--never bend down again! It has AWESOME SUCTION POWER--the most important vacuum feature. Stick it into a jar full of change and it will disappear! (Not that I recommend this, it would be dumb. But you know, sometimes you don't feel like picking that nickel off the floor).
I have owned the same one since 1998 and have never had a single problem!! My house is all hardwood, I HAVE FOUR SHEDDING DOGS and I do not own a broom. I love this vacuum like a child!
Customer Review: Boss Mighty Mite Summary: 3 Stars
This vacuum works well on wood floors and linoleum. It isn't wonderful for my area rugs. I think I may have been happier spending more money for a more all-round vacuum with a retractible cord. I do like the long cord. It lets me vacuum my whole house and the vacuum is nice and light so it has its pluses.

Electrolux 3670G Boss Canister Vacuum 12 Amp
I found the size and capability of the vacuum was just what I wanted. It also had a bag, which I prefer to the bagless vacs. The one thing I hadn't expected was that it was somewhat noisier than my smaller Mighty Mite (same type vac). But it is efficient, and I am very happy with the product.
Customer Review: Cleans well but a bit flimsy. Summary: 4 Stars
The Electrolux 3670G Boss Canister Vacuum 12 Amp has a strong motor and creates good suction (which might be even more effective if the narrow hose & wand had a wider diameter to allow easier airflow). Easy to carry while in operation. Nice long hose and wand, and power cord is long enough for small homes and apartments. Noisy but who cares. The machine and all attachments are of thin plastic, so don't let kids stand on the hose or any parts.
Ergonomics are bad: plastic corners that could have been gently rounded are a bit sharp, sometimes uncomfortable to handle. Power-on button on top of machine is small, demands operation with thumb, not foot. Cord winds up manually UNDER the machine, which is tedious but easy and normally keeps the machine from rolling smoothly when cord is wound up. Bags on this model have good capacity, considering it's a lightweight portable. Included "10-inch floor tool" works well on bare floors, okay on low carpets, not so good on thicker carpets or rugs (maybe there's a heavier/wider floor tool available?).
Customer Review: Consider the price!!! Powerful motor, lightweight, cheap attachments. Summary: 5 Stars
Does a great job on hardwood floors and cleaning up messes. NOT for use on carpets -- get beater brush for those. The hose and head are cheap quality, but work just fine. But for under $80 you get a powerful motor in a lightweight, maneuverable vacuum. This is not a luxurious, all purpose vacuum cleaner -- it is a work horse. With 12 amps of power, my floors are clean of dirt and pet hair in short order. The floor attachment could use more bristle, but swivels nicely and gets the job done. Attachments store on board, power cord is stored manually (which is better than a cheap auto cord winder that jams). Very happy with it- gets the job done with very little cost. NOT BAGLESS.
