Tools and Hardware Reviews of Eureka 3670G Boss Mighty Mite Canister Vacuum Cleaner

Customer Review: Great vacuum at a great price
Summary: 5 Stars

I researched all the popular canister vacuums before settling on the Eureka/Electrolux 3670G. It does an excellent job of cleaning hardwood floors and other smooth surfaces, and is ideal for cleaning the car. The standard floor attachment is not the best, but Eureka sells a number of floor, wall, and crevice attachments on their site at a very reasonable price. Other than that, I am extremely pleased at how the vacuum performs. It has great suction and the noise level is not too bad. with the right attachment it even does a fair job on carpet, but it does not perform as well as an upright in this regard.

Customer Review: Great vacuum!
Summary: 4 Stars

I love the rotating head. It works great. It's not as well built as my last one-this is my third mighty mite!

Customer Review: Great!
Summary: 5 Stars

This tiny vacuum is the best. I volunteer my time cleaning at a cat rescue. I run this vac almost two hours straight cleaning cement basement floors, and carpeted cat perches/furniture. The machine can get hot, but it still has a powerful suction to a concrete floor with the vac head attachment. Even with a overly full bag it still has suction and the cord is long. I just wish the bags were larger though, as they fill up fast with cat hair and litter. :) I do not suffer from elbow fatique considering how long I am using the machine. The only issue I had was when a tiny cat toy got caught in the plastic pipe at the connection to the corrigated hose. This happens quite often and the person who owns the vac fixed it by disconnecting those pieces. This vacuum can handle being run hard and still works great. I purchased one for my mother in law because its so easy to use, carry and to change the bags. I think this Eureka Mighty Mite vac is better then the expensive mini Riccar I own.

Customer Review: Hard working little vac
Summary: 5 Stars

We own a cleaning company and use the commercial version of this little vacuum almost exclusively. When we got a contract for a post construction cleaning for a condo complex we did not want to use our "good" Mighty Mites so we purchased this model because it was cheap. It cost less than half of the commercial model but had the smaller motor. We figured it was a throw away and truly didn't expect it to last thru the contract.

However, it's now 2 years later and this vacuum is STILL plugging along! It has been abused and used A LOT! It has gone thru several post construction contracts on apartment complexes, a year of cleaning an industrial warehouse, and any other really dirty job that comes up. It has recently been cleaned up and put into service in an office.

I don't recommend submitting your vacuum to any of those abuses but I can honestly say this little $60 vacuum has worked longer and harder than any vacuum our company has owned!

The only complaint I have is that the hose and tools are lighter weight than a commercial business needs so we have replaced them. Plus, and this is true of all models of the Mighty Mite, they really need to include the carpet head with the vacuum! You can purchase it separately but why not include it? Now you can also purchase (separately of course) a "turbo" carpet head but it costs more than the vacuum!

Regarding the HEPA filter - the older models and some of the less expensive models will not take the HEPA filter. It is a large filter that attaches over the exhaust port at the rear of the vacuum. I've only seen one model that takes it although there may be others by now.

Customer Review: I hate it
Summary: 2 Stars

I did a lot of research before buying this vacuum. I hate this vacuum and here is why: It's CHEAP cheap cheap plastic, cheap plastic hose that leaks air thus decreasing suction. The suction is miserable even when the hose is not leaking air. The body is cheap plastic. The unit is difficult to manuever, the cord is too short and the cord is a pain to wind and unwind.

I have a big dog, 2 cats, a baby, hardwood floors and 2 area rugs in a 800 Sq foot house and this vacuum just doesn't function well for my needs.

Just don't buy it. I bought this to replace an old euro-pro vacuum that I had for 10 years that worked beautifully. I am saving up for a miele canister vacuum to replace this piece of crap.
