This is my third Eureka Cordless Stick. It's by far the most powerful one on the market. I decided to try and Electrolux and returned it for this reliable Eureka. This is not meant for vacuuming the entire house. It lasts about 15 minutes and will clean your tile or wood floors and low pile carpet. You only get about 10-15 minutes of cleaning time. The battery is used up quickly but works good on bare floors and short pile carpet. The battery pack has to be replaced because it won't take a charge and it's only 1 year old. I don't use it that often so I don't keep it plugged in. When I went to use it the battery was dead and it won't recharge. The cost of the battery pack is almost as much as buying a new vacuum.Customer Review: A BEST BUY

What a handy vacuum to have. I live in a tri-level house and lugging the big vacuum up and down the stairs drove me nuts. Now I have this
little gadget handy to vacuum the dining room and kitchen tile floors and throw rugs. Anyone with grandchildren knows the crumbs they leave
behind in the kitchen and this takes care of that and more. I researched for a while before deciding on this one based on customer reviews.
I am happy that I got it!! It's easy to clean and the extra battery is a great bonus.

It picks up everyday household dirt and crumbs well enough. The kids can handle using it on our flat commercial type carpeted stairs. My wife loves pulling it out to do the kitchen instead of having to use a broom and dustpan. It's charge lasts long enough to do three rooms, but in our big house an extra battery or longer charge would be welcome. If one wants another battery he may as well buy another mini vacuum considering the price is half the cost of the sweeper. Really my only disappointment is that it's not practical for sweeping out the car or car seats since they are not completely flat. The Black and Decker sweeper I looked at might do that better but it does not hold a charge very long according to reviewers.
