Tools and Hardware Reviews of Eureka Enviro Hard-Surface Floor Steamer,313A

Customer Review: A great buy - makes cleaning easy.
Summary: 5 Stars

This product works very well and is easy to use. Good price for a great product. So much easier and more effective than mopping our floor.

Customer Review: A great tool but not a magic wand like some would have you believe about steam cleaners
Summary: 4 Stars

This is a nice product, the handle and steam head are of a pretty sturdy construction. When not in use though the handle "floats" a little and doesn't lock into place quite as strongly as I would like. It comes with a small cup and a funnel to fill the water reservoir. Two cup fulls of water fill the tank and last for aboout 15 minutes of steam, this is enough for me to clean my small 700 sq. ft apartment so no complaints about capacity. The only complaint about this item, which isn't really a complaint about this item per se but more about steam cleaners in general and their depiction in advertising. This item is not a magic wand, it wont magically whisk away any imaginable stain. For my money it is a way to maintain an already relatively clean floor. That being said for that task it is quite capable and not having to buy a lot of chemicals and have a bucket of solution sloshing around is a welcome change. I recommend this product just don't expect too much from it. Also you should probably get a heavy duty extension cord if you have a fairly big space to give flexibility without unplugging all the time.

Customer Review: A hard-surface floor steamer that works
Summary: 5 Stars

Steamer cleans my lineoleum floors and is well-built. Slightly heavier than other steamers that I purchased, but my other two broke because of cheap plastic parts. The steam doesn't come out like other steamers because it stays confined to the cleaning pad,but look at the pad and you can see how it really cleans. Large pads that are protected on all sides,so you can clean hard to reach edges. I would recommend it and buy again if necessary. Oh,the floor looks wet as you mop, but it dries fairly quick. I hope this helps you decide one before you get all those cheap plastic mops that break easily.

Customer Review: A kickass machine
Summary: 5 Stars

Had/used steam-cleaner for months now; it is fantastic--I couldn't be happier. It's lightweight, but sturdy enough that it doesn't feel "floppy" or all over the place. It emits just enough water that it absorbs it up and leaves just a light shine of water behind that dries quickly. It has a nice long cord, so I can plug it into just one or two rooms and reach the entire house. The only caveat (small one) is that I have trouble getting the two cotton pads that come with it (I machine wash them) 100% clean after, which would be nice but not a big deal. This is an unbeatable cleaner--you won't be disappointed.

Customer Review: A long-awaited find
Summary: 5 Stars

I have a husband who leaves a trail of whatever in his wake as he moves through the house and three bulldogs, my four-legged children. So I knew my house was not spotless. How could it be? My frustration with routine cleaning using a sponge mop and bucket of water mixed with cleaning solution just wasn't getting the job done. Thus my search for a better solution. Little did I know how ineffective the traditional methods of cleaning were until I used my Enviro Steamer. I mopped then steamed just a few minutes later. What the steamer picked up was unbelievable. I read the reviews of disatisfied customers. here's what I learned: (1)If you allow sufficient time for the steamer to heat before you using it, you won't have the problem with copious amounts of water on the floor; (2) the water evaporates much faster the first time you use it than subsequent times; and (3) toss the pads in a netted pouch to wash them--they last longer. You couldn't pay me enough to give up my steamer.
