Having read both the good and the bad reviews I decided to just go ahead and purchase this little vacuum. I was looking for something that I could use to quickly pick up crumbs from around where my little one eats, cat litter and also cat hair off my tile and wood floors. I have to say that for around $25 this was a great investment. I find it just perfect for getting up the little crumbs that my little guy has left behind and also cleaning up after my cat. I have also found it great on my wooden stairs as it is so lightweight. I did purchase a 15 foot extension cord to allow me to clean the whole downstairs without moving sockets. For the price I find nothing to complain about. If you want something more powerful you need to pay more!
Also this is so lightweight that it is great for little kids to help with the chores as it isn't big and bulky.

This little vacuum has been a real lifesaver for me. I have a tough situation: 1400 square feet of dark hardwood flooring, and two cats who shed like crazy and refuse to be brushed. I've tried brooms, I've tried all kinds of microfiber mops and all they do is push everything around. The Easy Clean is light, quick, and picks up everything from fur to pine needles to crumbs and all those other little specks. 10 or 15 minutes with this vacuum and I am done! It is very simple to put together and take apart to clean.Customer Review: A little diaspointed

I received it quickly in the mail, however, to me, it does not pick up well on carpet. It leaves pieces of string, etc. I tried going over and over and it just would not pick up.
It worked okay on the bare floor. The cord is too short. I would have to do one side of the room and then un-plug and re-plug on the other side of the room.

I bought this for my mom because sweeping our tile floors in the kitchen and bathroom was really hard for her. This works beautifully. I can even use it to pick up messes on the rug. Even more wonderful is that you can pop off the bottom, push in the pole, and it becomes a great dust buster!!! With it we can clean furnature, or dropped food from the dogs.Customer Review: Absolutely Great!

I never knew that vacuuming could be so easy! I'm almost 76 years old and using a regular upright vacuum was a real chore. The belt broke on the upright last week and I couldn't get the new belt to install and the roller wouldn't go back in the slot. It was then that I took a look at these lightweight vacuums. I selected the Eureka because it could also be used as a handheld vacuum. I have handheld vacuums, but how easy it would be to not need to use two different machines. Looking at the value price, I knew I had little to lose. Well, the Eureka Lightweight arrived yesterday and I was so impressed with how it made my life so much easier that I almost immediately threw the old upright in the trash. Really. I didn't have time to explore all the ways the new vacuum will help me with the cleaning but look out tomorrow! I like the included crevice tool, too. One of the real niceties is that I always had a problem vacuuming the carpeting in our bathroom with the upright and using a handheld required me to get down on the floor to vacuum... remember I'm 76 and with my arthritis, it's no easy task to get back up once I get down. This little miracle easily handles the small spaces and I can use the crevice tool to assist here. The telescoping handle is not only helpful when using the vacuum as a handheld, but also minimizes the storage space. Wow!
