The unit does the work it described. Just 2 problems
1) The power cord is indeed too short.
2) It is very easy to fall down when you leave it on the ground.
Everything else are fine. The short cord is really annoying. I would buy a wireless lightweight vacuum instead.

This vacuum was only meant to keep things in order between real using a real vacuum and for use on hard wood/linoleum. For those purposes it works just fine, but if it was your only vacuum it would leave a lot to be desired. On carpets there just isn't enough to pull small lint balls or whatever from the carpet, and there isn't a brush to help loosen them. If that is what you are looking for then this is a very good choice.Customer Review: Good suction

I have a dog that sheds and this vacuum does the trick. On a daily basis, I have to go around and pick up his hair. This does it quickly, without having to take out the bigger household vacuum.Customer Review: Good value for the price

This vac is good for a quick clean up on hard surfaces. It does not have the greatest power, but is small and lightweight. Will get clogged up with lots of dog hair. Lasts a couple of years and then - toss it. Good price.
