We bought this vacuum to replace an old mighty mite that had lasted years and years. I was amazed at the strength in this new model- it picked up dirt and pet hair that I thought was permanently embedded in the carpet! Also the pet hair attachment is fantastic for the couch and the drapes. My only complaint is that it is hard to adjust the suction with the little air vent at the neck of the vacuum, though once you figure it out it works well. I also love that it has a HEPA filter and comes with two vacuum bags.

Was very excited to receive this vacuum today as one of my dogs just recently started a shed cycle again. It worked very well on the first attempt at using it but the pet hair attachment "paw" clogged immediately and I spent more time removing the clogged hair then vacuuming. I also have a nasty blood blister on my hand from the sliding ring that is on the wand attachment. Very easy to pinch your skin as it's right where you hold the wand.

This may be going back!

Nowhere in the descriptive material does it state that THE BEATER BRUSH ATTACHMENT IS ONLY FOUR INCHES WIDE. You will be a very long time going over a single throw rug. While it is lightweight, that is because the attachments are the cheapest flimsy plastic available. Does it work? who knows? Will it last? probably not. Still shopping for something else.
