Customer Review: Amazing Power for a Little Vacuum!

I received this vacuum as a Christmas present to replace the 3 (yes, 3) more expensive vacuums I have in my house. The Eureka Optima outperforms them all!! It was so easy to put together...approximately 4-5 snaps and you're ready to go! It's a little heavier than the cheaper lightweight vacuums, but I like that it feels solid, especially since I intend this fully replace our large upright vacuum. I like the two settings, and the attachments work like a champ! My only complaint, but in a way it's a good thing is that it produces so much wind that it kicks up dust on my laminate flooring. BUT that's also good because it blows dirt/dust out of corners that it might otherwise miss. I highly recommend this vacuum!!Customer Review: Awesome little vacuum

Thsi is the best little vacuum I've purchased, and I've bought quite a few to deal with my pet hair problems. I have a yellow lab who sheds constantly and hair was always a battle. This powerful vacuum does a fantastic job and is light-weight,so it's easy to carry around. I have a large house with lots of carpet - even stairs. It works great in a larger house, you just need to empty the canister a few times. I'm very pleased with it and am glad to have finally found something that works well and didn't cost a fortune.Customer Review: Awesome vac discovery

This Eureka performs great on my hardwoods and area rugs. It is light and easy to use, plus the loop handle is height adjustable. The accessories are great too. There is a switch to put all of the suction power to the hose for detail cleaning or getting that pet hair off furniture. I have a lab that sheds like crazy and has major allergies. I bought this vacuum hoping that it would help alleviate the allergy problem. I was amazed at the power this vacuum has for its smaller size. I was very impressed and could not stop trying it out. I would recommend it to anyone who has a shedding pet or a pet with allergies. Totally awesome and the price is as well!! The only thing I think Eureka could improve on is the length of the power cord. It needs to be a few feet longer. Otherwise, it's perfect! [...]. It's tiny. I can't imagine anyone using this for anything other than an apartment or just for furniture. Emptying the canister is a HUGE pain. You have to twist the top and pull it off- which just throws dirt everywhere when you open it. The brush roll is tiny- half the size of a regular vacuum head so for me- twice the work. It is not easy to push, and I don't see the handle staying very sturdy. [...].
