I feel delighted whenever I see my Shark V1725 sweeper. It works better than my vacuum cleaner and also a lot quieter. It works best when the floor surface is flat & hard but works also on carpets. It picks hair and dusts efficiently. Don't forget to charge the battery for 1 day before the first use. Take note: the charger is inside the dust container. I almost returned this sweeper because I can't find the charger.Customer Review: Almost a good product

We used this Shark Sweeper for about two weeks. It picked up everything that would fit under it. If you use it near pet areas, it picks up hair like crazy, and you will have to empty it more often. Quiet as advertised. The power is enough for a sweeper of its size. The Shark works well on high-traffic carpet and kitchen flooring. The reason for two stars is that the handle broke off the unit at the base -- unexpectedly. As far as I can see, there isn't any way to remove the remaining piece of handle. Now the unit is a hand-held sweeper. I will contact the manufacturer and see if there is anything I can get from them to fix it.Customer Review: Awesome Sweeper

I was excited to test this sweeper out. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it went together and how easy it was to handle. I wanted my floors to be full of stuff so I could test it properly and found that it did exactly what I was hoping for. It cleaned up everything. I bought this sweeper recently as I have two toddlers at home, and was impressed by a different sweeper at my sister-in-law's place. It worked beautifully for exactly a week, after which it couldn't retain the charge. Even after hours of charging, it seemed to have no juice and worked for no more than 3 minutes. I called up amazon and they have ordered a replacement for me. I have my fingers crossed, hoping this would be a better piece.
