Monster Floor EZ1 Steam Mop and Floor Cleaner, 1000W
This is the 3rd steam mop that I have purchased. 1st purchased the Haan which was good, but the cord was not long enough so I gave it to my daughter who lives in an apartment. 2nd was the Bissell steam mop which put out way to much steam creating too much water on the floor. It also started leaking and I didn't like the cleaning pads. The Monster Steam Mop is just perfect to me. Nice long cord and the water heats very quickly and just the right amount of steam which allows the floors to dry very quickly. I love it and would highly recommend it.

What an awesome product. The machine does everything that it claims to do. Very easy to use just make sure you turn it on aand heat it up for 3-4 minutes before you use it. It's fairly lightweight and does a great job of cleaning wood and tile floors.

Cons: Takes about 5 minutes to heat the water sufficiently to operate. Leaves the floor wet.
Pros: Cleans very well, puts out alot of steam and leaves the floors much cleaner than mopping. I just put a duster on either foot and dry the floors by sliding around. Doesn't mopping leave your floor wet too?
Cleans a room 13'x13' on one water load.
I like mine alot and would recommed the product.

I tried the Monster model with the straight handle that I purchased on close out. It heated quickly and produced a good flow of very hot steam for 20 minutes. The boiler tank is stainless steel. The steam does a good job of removing ground in dirt from the floor.
I give the unit a poor rating because of the poor design of the unit such as the steam pad does not slide well on my vinyl floor which makes using it a little harder than pushing a mop. The Velcro pad does not keep the pad from wading up under the unit. I also found that the steam makes the pad shrink so much that it does not cover the bottom of the steamer which could cause scratches in the flooring. The electric cord does not fit into the loop at the top of the handle. The tank is so high that it can not fit under the kitchen cabinet toe kick area very well.
After watching the video in the previous review, I do not think the manufacture's new model, with the curved handle, has fixed these problems because the cord was being dragged in the floor from its attachment at the bottom of the unit and the pad looks to be the same as the pad that came with my unit. Because of the design flaws, I have returned my unit to the store.

We have had this since July 2010 and we have had no problems. My wife and kids love using this steamer. We have a lot of tile in the house and this steamer has done a great job.
